Who kivu.dev is

kivu.dev is a development agency and product studio based in Kigali, Rwanda. For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including Rwanda's Law No 058/2021 on the protection of personal data and, where it applies, the EU GDPR — kivu.dev is the data controller. What is collected

When a visitor gets in touch — through the contact form, the question box or by email — the studio receives the details sent: a name, an email address and a message. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical logs (IP address, browser, request data) to serve and protect this site. That's it — no tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels.

How it is used

To answer enquiries, run projects and keep basic business records. Data is never sold, rented or shared, and is not used for marketing lists.

Legal basis

Contact-form submissions are processed on the sender's consent (the checkbox) and the studio's legitimate interest in replying. Consent can be withdrawn any time by email.

Retention

Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any work that follows, then deleted.

Rights

Anyone may request access, correction or deletion of their personal data at any time — email hello@kivu.dev and it will be sorted.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance.

If this policy changes, this page and the date above are updated.
